Real time management and security of transactions

The gateway communicates directly with the computer systems of the banking network in real time. The buyer and the merchant are therefore informed immediately of the success or failure of the transaction. Data exchanges are made via secure, encrypted connections (SSL 128 bit certificate). The Cashtronics SSL certificate has been validated by COMODO, an independent company, which guarantees that:

Redirection to a payment confirmation page

Whether the transaction has been accepted or not, the Cashtronics server will send the purchaser to your chosen page. In a completely transparent process, the purchaser will assume that he/she is still on your website. In the event of a failure, the purchaser will be able to either call you or select another payment method (a bank transfer, for example).

Easy to implement and 100% compatible

Cashtronics Gateway can be easily implemented, regardless of the programming language or hosting platform your website uses. Our gateway uses the standardized https web protocol and is therefore compatible with any language able to make such requests. If you have a choice, for ease of use, we would recommend that you use PHP.

Fraud Shield: fraud protection

The Cashtronics Gateway automatically performs a whole series of checks resulting in a dramatic reduction of card fraud and chargebacks.

Using parameter settings in combination proprietary and exclusive databases, the Cashtronics Gateway assigns a variable score to each transaction (fraud-scoring) depending on the associated risk. If the security level is acceptable, the transaction will be authorized.
By this method, we can prevent card fraud and stop it before it even starts: the number of chargebacks and associated losses are therefore dramatically reduced.

Cashtronics e-Bunker: Anti-intrusion and anti-theft system

Cashtronics servers are protected by Cashtronics e-Bunker, a proprietary access control technology:

1. Access by the customer is protected by a password in combination with a random confirmation code
   
2. Cashtronics e-Bunker limits the number of unsuccessful connection attempts
   
3. All server accesses (both hostile and authorized) are recorded with IP address and the connection time information.
   
4. All changes to configuration settings are also recorded
5. Access from specific countries can be blocked; these countries can be identified by means of IP geolocalisation

Even in the unlikely event of an intrusion, the use of bank card information will be strictly impossible because:

1. No sensitive information is stored in our servers. The information we store is not sufficient for a fraudster to carry out a banking transaction. For example, the CVV2 codes on bank cards are not held on the Cashtronics servers. This prevents the card numbers being used on the Internet.
2. Bank card numbers are protected by strong encryption and are never fully stored: this makes any fraud absolutely impossible, since the whole card number is unknown even to ourselves!

Cashtronics servers use RAID technology (a redundant group of hard disks), whereby information is simultaneously recorded on several hard disks in order to provide the highest level of service redundancy, hence maximum availability.

In order to guarantee the security of this sensitive information and to provide for continuity of your online shop transactions, Cashtronics servers have the highest level of 24/7 protection against intrusion, fire, overheating and power supply outages.
